Tiger Tales – A Wild Adventure in The EYP Classrooms
Celebrating International Tiger Day with Stories, Games & a Heartfelt Pledge
To commemorate the International Tiger Day
On 29th July, our young explorers from EYP I,II and III dived into a thrilling jungle adventure — right from their classrooms! With the delightful tale “The Tiger Who Came to Tea”, our little learners stepped into a world of imagination, empathy, and environmental awareness.
Key Highlights from the Day
A Story with Stripes & Smiles:
Children were captivated by the story of the unexpected guest who joined for tea. As giggles filled the room, so did curiosity — sparking important conversations about wildlife, conservation, and the real-life tigers who need our help.
Tiger Hide n Seek Adventure:
Turning the classroom into a mini jungle, children went on a Tiger Hide n Seek game using playful clues like “Look near where we read our books” and “Check under something orange.”
Colouring with a Cause:
Each child coloured a worksheet featuring a tiger cub and proudly took a heartfelt pledge to save tigers — learning that even small voices can make a big difference when it comes to protecting our planet.
Spreading the Message:
Later, the pledge sheet was sent home with our learners, encouraging them to gather signatures from family and friends — creating a ripple effect of awareness and commitment to protect the tiger. What began as a classroom promise turned into a community-wide mission to stand up for endangered wildlife.
Moments That Mattered:
From storytelling and games to meaningful pledges, our learners celebrated International Tiger Day with heart, joy, and purpose. It was a day filled with learning, laughter, and love for nature’s most majestic big cat.
