A Celebration of Young Changemakers

"Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together, they make this world a beautiful garden." A day of creativity, collaboration & conscious living. The much-awaited Grade III Parent Walk-In showcased integrated learning and innovative projects, all centred on SDG 14 – Life Below Water.

Classrooms turned into immersive hubs where English came alive through picture compositions and storytelling on ocean conservation, while Science explored aquatic food chains, marine diets, and the balance of ecosystems. Social Science engaged learners in thought-provoking discussions and activities on human impact on oceans.

Innovation shone with the Microbit step-count project in coding and design, alongside Robotics models of windmills and hydroelectric power linking renewable energy to ocean health.

Mathematics was explored through ShinEdu, where students used Japanese techniques and models to apply logical thinking around water conservation. The soulful Sangeet for All presentation added depth, colour, and rhythm to the theme. Students performed a Bandish in Raga Yaman set to Jhaptala, with live accompaniment on the tabla and harmonium — a rich showcase of Indian classical music.

The event concluded with students and parents taking a heartfelt pledge to protect underwater life — a fitting close to an inspiring day that reflected the school’s commitment to Multiple Intelligences, interdisciplinary learning, and nurturing confident, responsible change makers for a sustainable future.
