The vision and mission of Suncity School-37 d involves holistic development of students so that we build a generation of responsible citizens who care about society and the environment around them.
Moving forward with this thought, we got an opportunity to participate in Green Campus Programme , India Chapter which is an international initiative by Climate Reality Project under the leadership of Ex Vice President of USA Al Gore along with a diverse group of passionate individuals who’ve come together to solve the greatest challenge of our time. The Climate Reality India branch is an independent chapter working on climate change education and awareness.
Our school was tested on different parameters like Biodiversity, Waste management, Water management, Air quality, Energy usage, Climate innovation. An audit was done by the Climate reality project Incharges and a detailed report was submitted involving school infrastructure and student’s practices of tree plantations, waste segregation, composting and community services.
Green Campus programme was an opportunity for us to understand our progress in this regard.
With immense joy ,we would like to share that our school has been awarded the Bronze Medal and a Green Logo for the sustainable practices adopted in the campus. This award and the logo are for 3 years-2022-2024.
We promise to make the world around us more sustainable.
