Suncity School Celebrates World Book Day with a Grand Literary Milestone

Suncity School, Sector 37-D didn’t just mark World Book Day — it owned it.

On 23 April 2026 — World Book Day, Suncity School 37D  unveiled its grandest gift yet: a reimagined Grand Senior Library, inaugurated by Ankur Warikoo — bestselling author, entrepreneur, and one of India’s most influential voices.

The ceremony brought together students, parents, and educators in a shared celebration of a space designed for thinkers, dreamers, and readers. It was Suncity at its finest — nurturing young minds with intention, heart, and vision. That he chose to spend this day with the Suncity community speaks volumes. His presence didn’t just elevate the event — it gave it a soul.

In his address, he spoke of learning beyond marks, of happiness as a daily practice, and of the real world that exists beyond textbooks. His words resonated deeply:

“Confusion is not failure. It is exploration.”

He reminded students that uncertainty is not weakness, but the beginning of every meaningful journey — urging them to read widely, think freely, and never fear the unknown. The room fell still. And in that stillness, something shifted — quietly, powerfully — in how students saw books, learning, and themselves.

Marking another proud milestone, he also unveiled the school’s maiden coffee table book, Kaizen Folios — a curated collection of stories, poems, and reflections by students from the Early Years to the Senior School — a true celebration of voice, growth, and continuous improvement.

The Readathon’’ a week long reading programme prior to the event was well appreciated by the esteemed general eat.
