— Helen Keller.
As part of the Connect Over Coffee series, Principal Ms Jayshree Patel spent time with the parents of Grade VII B and E for a warm and meaningful conversation around the children—their learning, experiences and well-being.
The discussion covered several aspects of school life, including concept clarity, curriculum, reading, experiential learning, assessments, homework, reference books, counselling and behavioural development. Parents also shared suggestions related to language learning, academic support, enrichment opportunities and practical exposure.
What made the conversation meaningful was the openness with which parents shared their experiences and ideas. The discussion also touched upon the importance of core values, communication skills, confidence and responsible use of technology in today's changing world.
Parents appreciated the school's efforts to broaden students' horizons and provide learning experiences beyond the classroom, while their suggestions offered valuable inputs for further strengthening the learning journey.
At the heart of the interaction was one shared thought—when parents and school listen to each other, children benefit the most.
Because meaningful education begins with meaningful conversations.
